This spring manufacturing company appears to have operated in this building from 1870 until 1967. The John Evans’ Sons web site has more information and a few photos. The building has a pretty horsey smell, and after I took the photo I found out why: one of those tour guides from Independence Hall parked (?) his horse and carriage in the left part of the building. North Philadelphia.
